Utica University's 128-acre campus is located in a largely residential section of west Utica, directly across Champlin Avenue from the St. Luke's campus of Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare.
Visitors to Utica University will notice a number of distinctive features, including expansive lawns and green spaces, walkways lined flower beds and ornamental plantings, a large number of mature trees, examples of outdoor sculpture, and significant new construction and recently completed facilities.

How to Find Us
Where Utica University Is Located
Utica University is located in Utica, N.Y., 50 miles east of Syracuse and 90 miles west of Albany. Utica is approximately five hours by car from New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and Montreal.
From points east and west
Travel the New York State Thruway I-90 to Exit 31 (Utica). Follow the signs carefully to Route 12 South and take the Burrstone Road/Utica University exit. The exit ramp ends at a stop light; take a left onto Burrstone Road West and look for the sign marking the entrance to Utica University (on the right).
From New York City
Take the New York State Thruway I-87 North to I-90 West. See the above paragraph for directions from the Thruway.
From Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey
Take I-81 North or other connecting routes to Route 12. Follow Route 12 North to Utica. Exit at Burrstone Road/Utica University. Follow exit ramp to Burrstone Road West and look for the sign marking the entrance to Utica University (on the right).
From the north
Take Route 12 South to Utica. Exit at Burrstone Road/Utica University. The exit ramp ends at a stop light; take a left onto Burrstone Road West and look for the sign marking the entrance to Utica University (on the right).

F. Eugene Romano Hall
Completed in 2007 and named in honor of one of the University's most generous benefactors, F. Eugene Romano Hall provides approximately 23,000 square feet of classroom, laboratory, and clinical space as well as modern technology for students studying physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing.

Lauren and Corky Bull Hall
Lauren and Corky Bull Hall is home to Utica’s Financial Crime Investigation, Justice Studies, and Cybersecurity programs. This state-of-the-art facility features a variety of technologically advanced learning spaces, including a crime lab and a secure computer forensics lab fine-tuned by the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency. Bull Hall also houses the Carbone E-Sports Auditorium, featuring thirty high tech gaming computers, large screen monitor, main stage, and spectator seating for league play in the E-Sports East Coast Conference.

Isaac Gordon Science Center / Science Center Annex
Gordon Science Center includes general biology, microbiology, and chemical synthesis labs, as well as the occupational therapy sensory room, a multi-sensory environment for teaching and research. In addition, the twenty-five-thousand square-foot Science Center Annex offers facilities for advanced learning and research in STEM fields such as genetics, animal behavior, physics, and more. Classes and lectures are also held in the recently renovated Donahue Auditorium.

Thurston Hall
Thurston Hall is a modern learning facility for students in Utica University’s Construction Management program. It features smart classrooms, a fully equipped materials lab, and computer labs with industry-standard estimating, project management, and digital modeling software. The multipurpose Hislop Auditorium as well as faculty offices and meeting spaces are also housed in this attractive and well-designed academic building.

Robert Brvenik Center for Business Education | Clark City Center
The Robert Brvenik Center for Business Education is located in the University’s Clark City Center facility. The Brvenik Center provides a home for our business programs in the heart of Utica’s revitalized financial district. It features the First Source Federal Credit Union Trading Room, smart classrooms, student lounges, and an auditorium. Free shuttle bus service connects the Brvenik Center and other resources in Clark City Center with Utica’s main campus.

Professor Raymond Simon Media Center
Named in honor of one of Utica's most celebrated faculty members, Professor Emeritus of Public Relations Raymond Simon, the Simon Center is a fully equipped high-definition video facility with television studio, control room, edit suite, robotic cameras, and isolation sound booth. The Center also includes a smart classroom with multimedia workstations.

Ralph F. Strebel Student Center
Strebel Student Center features the main dining commons and key resources for student living, including the student health center, Campus Safety, and more. The ground floor features a large fireplace lounge decorated with flags representing the home countries of our international students, the cozy Pioneer Cafe offering food and table games, and Strebel Auditorium, which is the venue for student theatrical productions. Utica's campus radio station WPNR is also located in Strebel.

Harold T. Clark Jr. Athletic Center
Clark Athletic Center is the hub of athletic programs, fitness, and recreation at Utica University. This well-appointed facility features a 2,200-seat gymnasium, training rooms, free weight rooms, and fully equipped team facilities with saunas. On the ground floor you'll find the Kunath Fitness Center, which offers Nautilus equipment, treadmills, stationary, recumbent bikes, and more. Racquetball courts, dance facilities, and athletic department offices are also found in the Clark Center.
Charles A. Gaetano Stadium
Designed for football, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, and intramural sports, Gaetano Stadium features seating for 1,200 people, stadium lighting for night games, and a synthetic turf field.
Todd and Jen Hutton Sports and Recreation Center
The Todd and Jen Hutton Sports and Recreation center is a 135,000 square-foot multisport facility with an eight-lane, two hundred-meter NCAA competition indoor track. Other features include four multi-sport courts, artificial turf practice field, weight room, and more. This state-of-the-art air-supported dome is one of the largest facilities of its kind in North America.
Casamento Field
Named for Utica’s ninth president, this recently completed Track and Field Complex includes an eight-lane outdoor track, synthetic turf multi-sport practice field, digital scoreboard, and NCAA compliant lighting system.
Utica University Nexus Center
Located in downtown Utica, adjacent to the Adirondack Bank Center at Utica Memorial Auditorium, the Utica University Nexus Center is a destination sports venue that features three multipurpose playing surfaces for competition and practice on ice or turf.

Residence Halls
Our residence halls feature a variety of living accommodations, including suites, apartment, and cluster-style residences. They offer well-appointed activity rooms with fireplaces, community kitchens, free laundry, handicap accessible bathrooms, furnished rooms, free Wi-Fi internet connection, and are cable-ready. On the north side of the quad is the Wilcox Intercultural and Student Organization center, featuring a great room with a fireplace, large flat-screen TVs, kitchen, and outdoor patio.
